Annotations
After reading the story (Suffering the Little Children), I've notice that Stephen King wrote a lot of diction and give a lot of characterization knowing what kind of character they are. There's also a lot of quotes being made showing how the character will express themselves to other character.

Summary of Suffering the Little Children
Miss Sidley was a strict teacher and the thick lenses on her glasses helps her know whose the troublemaker. Miss Sidlet ask Robert to use the word "tomorrow" and he said "Tomorrow, something bad will happen." Next day, she comes to school and was greeted by Mr. Hanning. He asked Miss Sidley if she could check the girl's restroom for paper towels. She went and hear two girls gossiping while giggling about her, but then they slowly change into a monster. Afterwards, Miss SIdley was unconscious until she was woken up by Mr. Hanning and Mrs. Crossen surrounded by students looking and notice the two girls smiling.
Next day, Miss SIdley talked to Robert locking themselves in a room. As soon as she looked at Robert, he was smiling and Miss Sidley questioned him of why he's smiling. He didn't why and Miss Sidley slowly started panicking wanting him to tell her. It was silent afterwards and Robert says that there's eleven just like him in the school. Miss SIdley stated that little boys and little girls go to hell if they tell stories. Robert then slowly changed and Miss Sidley saw it giving description in her thoughts of what Robert looked like. She ran out to the school and almost got hit by the bus. Mr. Hanning came out to see if she's okay with other students. Robert was looking too. Miss Sidley didn't go to school for a month.
When she got back to school, during recess, Robert walks up and talked to Miss SIdley. There's more just like him now after three months while students gawk at her. Next day, she brought a gun left by her deceased husband. She's planning to kill Robert and making up that there's a test. She brought Robert to the mimeograph room since it's noisy and no one could hear the gunshot. She shot Robert and found out that he's really a human and her mind was playing tricks on her. Moments later, she brought more of her kids into the room and killed them all. Mrs. Crosse came in seeing Miss Sidley holding a dieing girls hand. When Miss Sidleye turned, she was taken down by Mrs. Crossen.
No trial was given to Miss Sidley, the school hosted a mourning ceremony for the students that have died. A year later, Miss Sidley was place in a psychiatric hospital. Buddy Jenkins was watching over Miss Sidley while she red a book aloud to the special children around her. Miss Sidley was responding well with no aggressive movement until she saw something that disturbed her and looked away from the children. She wanted to be taken away. They took her away. Buddy Jenkins watched the children when they took Miss Sidley away and their eyes were wide and empty. One smiled and the other put a finger over his mouth slyly and two little girls clutched each other and giggled. Later at night, Miss Sidley committed suicide with a broken glass and Buddy Jenkins later watched the kids more and more, but in the end, he could hardly take his eye away from them.

What did I think about the story?
My expectation was reached after reading the Suffering the Little Children. Stephen King still is a good horror writer and after reading shows me how good he is. His reputation definitely shows and I would love to read more of his horror stories. I recommend these stories to anyone looking to read a good horror story with a twist.
Reflection
As a reader, I know more vocabulary than I did last year and identifying diction. I also understand on what is needed in a story for it to be a good story. I am not good yet, so there's some skill I need to work on. Knowing more vocabulary could help me later on throughout high school years and improve on writing a story for it to be judged as a good story. Last skill I need to work on is knowing how to use a word in a correct way by knowing it's a noun, verb, adjective, and adverb. To continue being a better reader, I need to read more books that are in my level or higher. I need to know what level of a book I'm reading if I want to improve. This could help me know more vocabulary, knowing where to put the words, and understand what's needed in a story from reading a book done by a prestigious author.
